What did you gain/learn from your experience abroad? Was it worthwhile?
During the program I was able to visit locations that influenced my career path. In visiting different professional settings and listening to lectures on how Evidence Based Practice should be applied, I now have something to bring back to my campus. I can be a leader in the classroom and the professional world and emphasize that treatment methods with eidence are more beneficial to clients.

* Host Country Program Administration

On-site administration of your program

The program size seemed a bit large. Had the program size been a bit smaller there would have been easier ability for interaction.

* Housing:

How satisfied were you with your living arrangements?

* Food:

Food costs are expensive relative to the American prices. However, food locations were best in the "lanes" of Melbourne. Meaning the best restaurants were found in what seemed to be alleys.

* Social & Cultural Integration:

How integrated did you feel with the local culture?

Visiting the wild parks was amazing. Featherdale Wild Life park was awesome! If you make it to Sydney go whale watching, surfing, and do the jet boat ride. All those things are amazing!

* Health Care:

How well were health issues addressed during the program?

* Safety:

Healthcare was easily accssible. Our program director accompanied us to a medical office. Just make sure you go early in the day. Walk ins are often not accepted after a certain hour.

If you could do it all over again would you choose the same program? Yes

Finances

* Money: How easily were you able to live on a student's budget?

(1 = not very easy/$200+ on food & personal expenses/week, 2.5 = $100/week, 5 = very easily/minimal cost)
