Cutting edge research and modern teaching methods are closely connected at the University of Hohenheim. Hohenheim students and scientists receive numerous awards each year, and our graduates are sought after on the job market.
With universities and other research institutions in over 90 countries, Hohenheim maintains international partnerships; in addition, the University has many other individual research cooperation projects. The University is a member of the Euroleague for Life Sciences.
An experimental station, four state institutions, and five scientific centres make it possible to conduct intensive, interdisciplinary, and practice-oriented research on-site.
Nearly 10,000 students are currently enrolled in one of 51 study programmes in the areas “General and Applied Natural Sciences”, “Agricultural Sciences”, and “Business, Economics and Social Sciences”. They enjoy studying on their “campus of short distances” in the midst of expansive parks.
