It was definitely worthwhile. I learned so much about religion, the Middle East, and even my own identity. A student - Boston University View Entire Review
I study Political Science so being in Israel gave me a good learning experience about politics in the Middle East. But it is not just about what you learn in the class room that counts but what you learn out of it as well. If I can offer any advice I would say go and talk to everyone you can: Arabs, Jews, the Druze, everyone and... Aaron Boe - University of North Dakota View Entire Review
I met amazing people. I got a unique perspective on the Israeli-Palestinian conflict. I visited places that are holy to people of many different faiths. I had an amazing time. Marisa E - The University of Texas at Austin View Entire Review

Being abroad was very worthwhile but the program wasn't. I recommend Tel-Aviv. Asia M - Pace University View Entire Review
I gained so many memorable experiences and friends and I would do it again in a heartbeat. But more than that I felt like the life I had in Haifa was one that I want to emulate when I move back to the states. I was healthy and engaged and appreciative of all the unexpected surprises in my new environment. carrie.hildebrandt.7 - University of Maryland - College Park View Entire Review

Of course Yes. I've experienced the difference in many areas and got some perspectives to see widely and academic learning was also so good. A student View Entire Review
Challenging courses that really helped me not only learn about the host country and the conflict that has plagued it for so long, but also provided inspiration for potential further research for my Senior Thesis and other important projects in the future. Eye-opening exposure to a side of the conflict I had never seen before, w... A student - Covenant College View Entire Review

The Israeli culture is very different from the American culture. People are a lot more upfront and this can come off as rude to some Americans. I became a lot more direct and confident in myself after being in Israel. I can also make quicker decisions now since in Israel you need to be quick to act and more aggressive, this is a... Experience life in Israel first hand, which is valuable because Israel is in the news so much. Experience a new culture and get some perspective. Also appreciate life in America more :) A student - University of Miami View Entire Review

I learned a lot more outside of the classroom than inside, but it was absolutely worthwhile. I loved seeing Israel from a non religious perspective, because I'd only ever experienced it from a Jewish perspective before this. Leah F - Columbia University View Entire Review
I gained a sense of independence and a deeper connection to Israel. Yes it was worthwhile! A student - Brandeis University View Entire Review
I gained a closeness with my family abroad in Israel. I worked hard on my Hebrew language skills, and successfully navigated a foreign country in a language other than my mother tongue. It was worthwhile, and I am so proud of it! A student - Brandeis University View Entire Review
