Great experience December 21, 2021

University of Georgia: Studies Abroad Program in Cortona, Italy

What did you gain/learn from your experience abroad? Was it worthwhile?
Being in an environment where one’s experiences outside of the classroom correlates with what one is learning during class time is a unique and intensive educational experience that one only gets from a program like this. I believe my time abroad was worthwhile. Not only did we learn a lot about our class subjects but we also developed personal and professional skills such as how to travel internationally, patience and communication while overcoming language barriers, adaptability and open-mindedness from managing activities and excursions.
