Do you have any general money-saving tips for future study abroad participants? I didn't expect food to be so cheap, but you really have to buy stuff in season.

* What do you know now that you wish you knew before going on this program? GO. GO. GO. Just do it. An independent person would benefit the most; you need to expect not to be around Americans often, if ever, and be comfortable with it.
