Review Your Program

* Overall educational experience

Academic rigor, intensity, resources, etc.

Students didn't take their assignment serious. Most students would turn in assignment 3 weeks late. The quality of students essay were not at a college level. I feel 2 assignments and a final is not enough work.

* Host Country Program Administration

On-site administration of your program

It was good

* Housing:

How satisfied were you with your living arrangements?

* Food:

The dinning commons was horrible flies flying everywhere, they serve the same thing every day. The mall is walking distance but it just takes a while to get their, but the food is good at the mall.

* Social & Cultural Integration:

How integrated did you feel with the local culture?

The home stay was really cool. Getting to have a family for a week made the trip amazing.

* Health Care:

How well were health issues addressed during the program?

* Safety:

I felt safe in the city

If you could do it all over again would you choose the same program? No

Finances

* Money: How easily were you able to live on a student's budget?

(1 = not very easy/$200+ on food & personal expenses/week, 2.5 = $100/week, 5 = very easily/minimal cost)

Not including program expenses, about how much money did you spend on food and other expenses each week? I spent a lot of money due to the fact I travel during spring break to different countries. I cant really put a price on it. I just know I spent a lot of money.
Do you have any general money-saving tips for future study abroad participants? If you plan to travel make sure you have a visa card.

How would you rate your language skills at the beginning of the program? None
What was the highest level language course you had completed prior to departure? N/A
If applicable, to what degree did your living situation aid your language acquisition?

Language acquisition improvement?

My roommate helped me out with the language at school. I needed to use the language every now and than. Majority of people spoke English
