I gained more confidence in my Spanish speaking. I also realized that I may want to live abroad in the future. Also, it opened my eyes to a few different career opportunities and also to a new culture that was very warm and friendly. - Harvard University View Entire Review
It was definitely worth my while. What I loved the most was how Alcala is located in the center of Spain so we could go in any direction and get to another city in a reasonable amount of time for a weekend trip. About

Come study at one of the top public universities in Spain, recognized by UNESCO as a World Heritage Site in 1998. Savor the vibrant university-city culture, authentic tapas, historic buildings, and charming residents of Alcala de Henares, also referred to as the City of Cervantes!

In 1987, the Study Abroad in Spain program was launched. It is intended especially for overseas students who want to study undergraduate courses in Spain. Every year, we serve about 500 students from an array of academic backgrounds and proficiency levels in Spanish, ranging from beginner to advanced.

Every student can choose from a wide range of study areas offered by the Study Abroad in Spain program. Hispanic Studies, International Relations, Business Administration and International Business, Education, Journalism and Communication, and Health Sciences are among the subjects included in our program. Students may take part in an individualized internship program which allows them to work for a company of their choice for an entire semester in addition to all of these other courses.

A significant number of our courses emphasize the development of intercultural and language skills in a professional context and incorporate experiential learning through practicums.
