Overall Experience
I think this experience was worthwhile. I hadn't been abroad before this trip so it was a good experience to get my feet wet in international travel. My Spanish speaking skills also improved considerably. I will definitely be returning to Spain in the future. - University of Arizona View Entire Review
I gained confidence in myself and learned lots of new vocabulary along with better grammar. It was worthwhile as I accomplished everything I wanted to. - Birmingham-Southern College View Entire Review
A student studying abroad with Instituto Franklin-UAH: International Studies Program
I learned what it meant to get out of your comfort zone and to try new things. I gained a sense of courage. I also learned that what you get out of your experience abroad is how much effort you put into it. It was definitely worthwhile. - Curry College View Entire Review

About

Is there a certain amount of time you can study and travel? Do you want to receive instruction solely in English? Do you wish to avoid the trouble of submitting an application for a student visa? Do you find subjects like law, gender studies, criminal justice, or international relations interesting? If so, you should enroll in our international studies program! This program, which is in partnership with the Consortium of Transatlantic Studies and Scholarship (CTSS), provides a vibrant environment for visiting academics and students from several international universities. Every course examines a particular subject from a global perspective. Despite taking English-speaking classes, participants get the rare opportunity to immerse themselves completely in the Spanish language, customs, traditions, and culture.

Come study at one of the top public universities in Spain, recognized by UNESCO as a World Heritage Site in 1998. Savor the vibrant university-city culture, authentic tapas, historic buildings, and charming residents of Alcala de Henares, also referred to as the City of Cervantes!

Our program is intended especially for overseas students who want to study undergraduate courses in Spain. Every year, we serve about 500 students from an array of academic backgrounds and international institutions.

There is no need for you to apply for a student visa because this program lasts less than ninety days. All of the housing advantages, on-site assistance, and study abroad excursions that we provide for our semester students will be extended to you.
