What did you gain/learn from your experience abroad? Was it worthwhile?
I definitely improved on my Spanish skills, which was one of my main goals. I also understood the culture a lot more and was able to experience so much outside of what I am used to.

Do you have any tips/advice on the best ways to practice the language for future study abroad participants? Stay with a host family! Not only stay with them, but talk to them! Talk to them more than just meal times and actively engage in conversation. It will force you to use your Spanish skills and you will learn much more.
