What did you gain/learn from your experience abroad? Was it worthwhile?
Living with a host family made it a very quick transition into speaking Spanish. However, the university is made up of Americans, so we naturally spoke English after class.

The classes were really easy because we spent a lot of time waiting on those less skilled at Spanish to speak up. The university also did not have many outside connections in the city for us to look at for possible professional training |
