Valdivia: Let's Eat Some Choripan Past Review

By (PPE, Western Washington University) for

Universidad Austral: Valdivia - Direct Enrollment & Exchange

What did you gain/learn from your experience abroad? Was it worthwhile?
While I had a great time in Chile, it was not the challenging experience that I had hoped for and to some extent expected. I ate a lot of good food, drank a lot of good beer, and made a lot of good friends, but if I were to do it again I would look for a program in Peru, Bolivia or Columbia. That's just my preference, though; for improving spanish language skills and otherwise having a nice relaxed time, Valdivia is the place to go.
