What did you gain/learn from your experience abroad? Was it worthwhile?
It was absolutely worthwhile, since being abroad helped me appreciate aspects of life at home that I had been taking for granted. Being able to travel also gave me the confidence to navigate a foreign country by myself.

Ute is an amazing resource. She is very patient and competent at navigating processes that would be otherwise very overwhelming.

* Housing:

How satisfied were you with your living arrangements?

Housing was clean, spacious, pleasant, and had good facilities.

* Food:

There were lots of good options for eating out in Tübingen, and the grocery stores and markets were inexpensive with good quality and variety.

* Social & Cultural Integration:

How integrated did you feel with the local culture?

How well were health issues addressed during the program?

I never felt unsafe in Tübingen, even walking alone late at night.

* What do you know now that you wish you knew before going on this program? I wish it had been more clearly emphasized that we would not have a stipend during our language program.
