Tufts Programs Abroad: Tufts in Paris

What did you gain/learn from your experience abroad? Was it worthwhile?
Absolutely. I definitely came out of my America-centric bubble and got to look at my home country from the perspective across the frog pond. I wouldn't take any of my experience back - it was all well worth it.

Review Your Program

* Overall educational experience

Academic rigor, intensity, resources, etc.

* Host Country Program Administration

On-site administration of your program

VERY helpful administration that did a lot to help immerse us in the country/culture

* Housing:

How satisfied were you with your living arrangements?

Lived with a host family. I just needed to buy my own toiletries and some groceries. I was treated very well, although I would have liked to have more host siblings to talk with.

* Food:

Tufts gives us a generous stipend to get meals with

* Social & Cultural Integration:

How integrated did you feel with the local culture?

TIP provided lots of fun and informative excursions to us

* Health Care:

How well were health issues addressed during the program?

* Safety:

Most of the time, I felt very safe. I was attacked one night, but I was near Chatelet ( a little sketchy) and was with another girl late at night - so we should have been more careful.

If you could do it all over again would you choose the same program? Yes
