A Look Back

* What did you like most about the program?
  • The Irish culture
  • My classes
  • The ability to travel in Ireland.
* What could be improved?
  • Wellelsey Study Abroad Office messed up our financials and we had to personally front way too much money
  • The study abroad office at Wellesley didn't seem to know what we were doing and was not great at communicating with us
  • We had to spend a TON of time discussing finances with OIS and SFS because they were not clear or direct or helpful in any way with discussing our financial situation in Dublin.
* What do you know now that you wish you knew before going on this program? To be more explicit with the study abroad office at Wellesley before leaving about the pre-semester program that they failed to remember we were doing.

The Nearly Native or Trail Blazer
Craving the most authentic experience possible, perhaps you lived with a host family or really got in good with the locals. You may have felt confined by your program requirements and group excursions. Instead, you'd have preferred to plan your own trips, even skipping class to conduct your own 'field work.'
