ThisWorldMusic: Music and Dance Programs in Cuba

What did you gain/learn from your experience abroad? Was it worthwhile?
Learned about the Afro-Cuban religion and visited the house of a Santaeria. I learned all dance forms of Cuba in a few different forms outside of our daily 2hour class with Conjunto Folklorico. I learned about the country's history in music development and how USA was involved in the Spanish-Cuban War.
