Review Your Program

* Overall educational experience

Academic rigor, intensity, resources, etc.

The courses require a lot of essays and the test are difficult, although we have many tutorials and lectures to help us. Also, everything they ask on the tests is taught in the lectures.

* Host Country Program Administration

On-site administration of your program

Very good! There is a special office just to take care of the abroad students... It is very organised and they make us fell like home.

* Housing:

How satisfied were you with your living arrangements?

All accommodations in Sydney are very expensive and the university ones too. But it is possible to find something reasonable... Unfortunately the university does not help the students with this.

* Food:

It is good. There is a lot of thai and Japanese food which is extremely different from brazil, but we get used to it

* Social & Cultural Integration:

How integrated did you feel with the local culture?

Not much, but it depends on you.

* Health Care:

How well were health issues addressed during the program?

It is very good. We have a healthcare center inside the university just for students, we just have to call and ask for an appointment, it is usually very quick. Although the doctors there seemed worse regarding to knowledge compared to the ones we have in brazil.

* Safety:

Sydney is perfect in safety, we can walk in the street not worrying abou it.

If you could do it all over again would you choose the same program? Yes

and there is also computers, sofas, water... It is a place to meet other overseas students and to study, spend time between classes

Finances

* Money: How easily were you able to live on a student's budget?

(1 = not very easy/$200+ on food & personal expenses/week, 2.5 = $100/week, 5 = very easily/minimal cost)

Not including program expenses, about how much money did you spend on food and other expenses each week? 100

* Did your program have a foreign language component? No

Direct Enrollment/Exchange
