Review Your Program

* Overall educational experience

Academic rigor, intensity, resources, etc.

Workload at Middlebury was much heavier than at University of New South Wales. The grading system was much less personalized, large university feel. Teaching methods were very hands on - large lectures but very small tutorial groups which were effective in teaching concepts from lectures.

* Host Country Program Administration

On-site administration of your program

Could not have been more helpful or have prepared me any better. Great overall experience with the Middlebury Study Abroad Office.

* Housing:

How satisfied were you with your living arrangements?

* Food:

very expensive but very good. need to buy groceries because it is unreasonably expensive to eat out frequently. however, when i did get the chance to go to a local restaurant, it was usually very good.

* Social & Cultural Integration:

How integrated did you feel with the local culture?

great sports bars.

* Health Care:

How well were health issues addressed during the program?

* Safety:

never feared for my safety at all.

If you could do it all over again would you choose the same program? Yes

Finances

* Money: How easily were you able to live on a student's budget?

(1 = not very easy/$200+ on food & personal expenses/week, 2.5 = $100/week, 5 = very easily/minimal cost)
