There are very few college courses where you can visit the famed Panama Canal; surf or learn to surf on fun waves, boat trip out to deserted islands; hike through the jungle to secluded waterfalls; eat fresh caught fish and ceviche; and learn how to improve your writing and creative expression skills from an Emmy Award winner and surf legend. Sam George will guide students through the intense curriculum he designed to develop writing skills through practical workshop sessions, creative exploration and intellectual exercises. This course is really for everyone who wants to become a better writer, surfer, and globally informed citizen.
