What did you gain/learn from your experience abroad? Was it worthwhile?
I gained a lot from this experience. I decided to study abroad in order to experience something that I'd never experienced before, and it definitely fulfilled the goal. Not only was I out of my comfort zone academically (it had literally nothing to do with my major), but socially as well. Therefore, I was able to engage in learning that was largely different from what I was used to, but also experience a culture that I perhaps would never have learned about if I hadn't gone on this trip. It was definitely worthwhile.
