What did you gain/learn from your experience abroad? Was it worthwhile?
Definitely worthwhile! I was allowed to develop a more open approach and understanding that was quite different to my own culture.

Although it was a really interesting experience and was a great opportunity to work and live abroad; I think it was not the best in terms of developing my personal career. Nevertheless, I may stand corrected but that is what I feel. Still was a great experience! I don't regret it but I wouldn't do it again.

* What do you know now that you wish you knew before going on this program? that there wasn't a kettle in my room and that there was a job to cook (but had no cutlery) as well as other things in my room which I expected to be there.
