I became much more flexible in where I want to live and work and I became more sensitive to the effect of cultural differences in the workplace.

The Intern Group NY team always went above and beyond to make sure that everyone felt safe and at home.

* Housing:

How satisfied were you with your living arrangements?

Everything I needed was on-site (gym, laundry, mail-service) and the location was so prime (super close to central park)!

How integrated did you feel with the local culture?

The IG NY team organized events every Saturday, ranging from museums to markets and bike tours. Plus additional workshops are organized a couple times a month which provide really helpful tools & tricks for your future endeavors. Highly recommend joining both!

* Health Care:

How well were health issues addressed during the program?

Didn't experience anything bad related to healthcare. The team was always there to answer any questions I had.

If you could do it all over again would you choose the same program? Yes

* Money: How easily were you able to live on a student's budget?

(1 = not very easy/$200+ on food & personal expenses/week, 2.5 = $100/week, 5 = very easily/minimal cost)

Not including program expenses, about how much money did you spend on food and other expenses each week? $250
Do you have any general money-saving tips for future study abroad participants? Make sure to limit your amount of eating out, and prepare your own lunch for work. In the end this really saves you a lot of money.
