Once in a Life Time Dublin Internship Experience Past Review
By A student (Dalhousie University) - abroad from 06/10/2017 to 08/21/2017 with
The Intern Group: Dublin Internship Placement Program
What did you gain/learn from your experience abroad? Was it worthwhile?
I learned how to put myself out there and get out of my comfort zone. In particular to my internship, I learned so many valubale skills with regards to non-profit work and how these organizations operate. I got to have a feel of what work life could be like for me in the future. It was definitely worth a while, because I got a sense of clarity with regards to what I want to/don't want to do with my future.

* What do you know now that you wish you knew before going on this program? | I wish I knew that I was going to be confident and okay with being in a new country for 3 months and not let my anxiety take over. Dublin is not the cheapest city in the world and it is easy to lose track of your finances so budgeting is important. |

The Avid AdventurerThe wardrobe you packed was better suited for a semester of camping than club hopping. Outdoorsy, you might forgo a crazy night out for an early all-day adventure. You'd rather take in the rich culture of an old town than the metropolis of a modern city, but for you getting off the grid is ideal. |
