What did you gain/learn from your experience abroad? Was it worthwhile?
A new international perspective, more insight into sustainability and renewable energy, fantastic educational experience from very passionate Peruvian professors.The program lodged us in the nicest places and fed us the best food. I met some incredible people in the area. 10/10 experience, absolutely worthwhile.

Culture was incredible

No issues with health, some people were hit hard by altitude sickness, but this was addressed by the program and they took care of them very well.

  • Blend of excursions and intense educational experience
  • GREEN hired the best people to do their job on the program
  • My group was so well curated: All were diverse and hand picked from around the nation
* What could be improved?
  • I wish I could give some feedback but everything was so perfect! Really could not have asked for anything more
* What do you know now that you wish you knew before going on this program? How bad the insects are. You need high grade insect repellent to stand a chance against the horde of bug bites. My pretty low standard repellent didn't hold up at all.
