The GREEN Program: Iceland - Sustainability and Renewable Energy Abroad

What did you gain/learn from your experience abroad? Was it worthwhile?
I learned a lot about myself as a person, I was pushed to my limit and encouraged to step out of my comfort zone. I learned a lot about the world and was able to actually experience the beauty and power of our planet and gain a deeper appreciation for it. Within all this I was able to learn many technical things regarding renewable energy. Most importantly, I made great friends. It was absolutely worthwhile

Review Your Program

* Overall educational experience

Would've been cool to have had more traditional Icelandic food, but the quality of the food that we did eat was great!

Reasons For Studying Abroad

To help future students find programs attended by like-minded individuals, please choose the profile that most closely represents you.
The Avid Adventurer
The wardrobe you packed was better suited for a semester of camping than club hopping. Outdoorsy, you might forgo a crazy night out for an early all-day adventure. You'd rather take in the rich culture of an old town than the metropolis of a modern city, but for you getting off the grid is ideal.
