About

This program is designed for Texas A&M University undergraduate students of the College of Architecture. While taking a full workload of courses for credit back at home, participants will have the unique opportunity to live and learn in Germany.
Students acquire artistic, scientific, cognitive and technical compentences within the realm of film making, animation, gaming and interactive graphics. The program allows students to integrate and apply conceptual theory to practice in areas of vizualisation, employing newly acquired skills, ranging from computer science and video technology to psychology, architecture, art, illustration, politics, philosophy and culture.
The academic program is complemented by numerous class-related field trips, guest lectures and company visits (graphic design, computer gaming and animation) that allow students to directly apply aquired skills to substantial theorem and translate knowledge into performance. Attendance at the FMX Conference on Animation, Effects,Games and Interactive Media in Stuttgart, Germany is considered to be the highlight of the program.
