What did you gain/learn from your experience abroad? Was it worthwhile?
definitely, I learned a lot about myself and about the American culture by living in Italy... and I ate a ton of good food

Review Your Program

* Overall educational experience

Academic rigor, intensity, resources, etc.

the workload was moderate, really great professors

* Host Country Program Administration

On-site administration of your program

Overall seemed a pretty well-run program, couldn't really help me much when I was sick though

* Housing:

How satisfied were you with your living arrangements?

* Food:

the food was unreal, eat sandwiches or pizza for lunch, its cheap

* Social & Cultural Integration:

How integrated did you feel with the local culture?

the calcio storico on the feast of saint john the baptist

* Health Care:

How well were health issues addressed during the program?

* Safety:

pretty safe, just don't walk around by yourself late at night and you should be fine

If you could do it all over again would you choose the same program? Yes

Finances

* Money: How easily were you able to live on a student's budget?

(1 = not very easy/$200+ on food & personal expenses/week, 2.5 = $100/week, 5 = very easily/minimal cost)

Not including program expenses, about how much money did you spend on food and other expenses each week? too much... however much you think you need, budget more... you will want to buy everything over there
Do you have any general money-saving tips for future study abroad participants? 5 euros is NOT the same as 5 dollars... do not equate euros to dollars, its very easy to fall into that habit

If applicable, to what degree did your living situation aid your language acquisition?
