Review Your Program

* Overall educational experience

Academic rigor, intensity, resources, etc.

I didn't take the hardest classes in the world, but the quality was quiet good.

* Host Country Program Administration

On-site administration of your program

Well organized but long waits.

* Housing:

How satisfied were you with your living arrangements?

AMAZING.

I lucked out and found a cheap rent, in the best part of town in one of the nicest apartments in the whole city. My private balcony could fit over a hundred people. We also had 24 hour access to gym, pool, sauna. Private from 11pm-7am.

* Food:

Eat kangaroo and crocodile.

* Social & Cultural Integration:

How integrated did you feel with the local culture?

I met great people and had an amazing time.

* Health Care:

How well were health issues addressed during the program?

* Safety:

I felt safe but Melbourne has some dangerous areas. It's not uncommon to see a fight.

If you could do it all over again would you choose the same program? Yes

Finances

* Money: How easily were you able to live on a student's budget?

(1 = not very easy/$200+ on food & personal expenses/week, 2.5 = $100/week, 5 = very easily/minimal cost)

Not including program expenses, about how much money did you spend on food and other expenses each week? 210 a week in rent 20 bucks a day for food 7 bucks per beer
Do you have any general money-saving tips for future study abroad participants? hostel price change quickly. Food isnt cheap and the currency fluctuates a lot.

Language

Language acquisition improvement?

My English probably got worse if anything.
