Review Your Program

* Overall educational experience

Academic rigor, intensity, resources, etc.

Classes are engaging and interesting. Very educational.

* Host Country Program Administration

On-site administration of your program

With the exception of the financial aid department (who helped me with loans for the study abroad program) I was self-guided.

* Housing:

How satisfied were you with your living arrangements?

We stayed in hotels, since it was a short-term program.

* Food:

The food provided by the tour company, Explorica, was disgusting. When we were able to eat on our own, meals were MUCH better.

* Social & Cultural Integration:

How integrated did you feel with the local culture?

* Health Care:

How well were health issues addressed during the program?

Not applicable

* Safety:

Felt safe.

If you could do it all over again would you choose the same program? Yes

Finances

* Money: How easily were you able to live on a student's budget?

(1 = not very easy/$200+ on food & personal expenses/week, 2.5 = $100/week, 5 = very easily/minimal cost)

Because it was a short-term study abroad program, it was not difficult.

Not including program expenses, about how much money did you spend on food and other expenses each week? $200-300 per week, for meals, souvenirs, and experiences.
