My study aboard experience was definitely worthwhile. I felt like I helped the community and learned about their culture at the same time.

The programs strengths were having a good balance between academics, tours, exploring, and fun. It was a well-rounded trip overall. The programs weakness was in certain situations the lack of communication between the leaders of the program.

Many students became sick because of the food.

Finances

* Money: How easily were you able to live on a student's budget?

(1 = not very easy/$200+ on food & personal expenses/week, 2.5 = $100/week, 5 = very easily/minimal cost)

Not including program expenses, about how much money did you spend on food and other expenses each week? No money was spent on food. For personal expenses like buying gifts for others and washing clothes, around $65 was spent overall.
Do you have any general money-saving tips for future study abroad participants? There are a lot of nice things to purchase for family and friends, I would have bought more if I had more money.

A Look Back

* What do you know now that you wish you knew before going on this program? With little words to say, this trip has opened my eyes greatly. It has pushed me to want to do more studying abroad. I loved every minute of this experience and would honestly not change anything about it.
