I have a better understanding of what my ancestor's went through in order for me to be where I am today in life because of my ancestors I am attending college and able to vote to name a few. This study abroad experience have impacted my life in so many ways like my eating habits have changed and "waste yeah not" have stuck in my head since the trip. One of the lady's of Pepease stated to one of the young on the trip to "waste yeah not" meaning to eat all of your food on your plate.
