Review Your Program

* Overall educational experience

Academic rigor, intensity, resources, etc.

Our professors were unclear about expectations and unprepared to teach the course. As a result it felt like a waste of time.

* Host Country Program Administration

On-site administration of your program

The Prague ISA staff were WONDERFUL! They took care of even the smallest issue with utmost timeliness! They were friendly and helpful in planning personal excursions, giving wonderful suggestions and personal advice. The excursions were very well planned and executed. They took great care of us, it was wonderful! I can't say enough good things about Daniella, Lucie, Martin, and Tamara.

* Housing:

How satisfied were you with your living arrangements?

Our housing was close to public transportation and was a huge and beautiful apartment. We were not on a language program so that question doesn't apply to us.

* Food:

* Social & Cultural Integration:

How integrated did you feel with the local culture?

The welcome and farewell dinners were very enjoyable. The excursions to Terezin and Czechy Krumlov were also educational as well as enjoyable. I wouldn't have made those trips if they weren't planned by ISA so I'm very thankful for that. Also the walking tour of Prague was great.

* Health Care:

How well were health issues addressed during the program?

* Safety:

Prague is like any large city, if you use common sense and make good life choices you'll be fine.

If you could do it all over again would you choose the same program? Yes

Finances

* Money: How easily were you able to live on a student's budget?

(1 = not very easy/$200+ on food & personal expenses/week, 2.5 = $100/week, 5 = very easily/minimal cost)

Not including program expenses, about how much money did you spend on food and other expenses each week? I spent about $900 total in our 3 week trip that includes 2 trips to other countries and all my souvenirs plus food plus lots of live theater.
Do you have any general money-saving tips for future study abroad participants? The more you can save before hand the more you can do while you're there.
