The INTO China program was definitely worthwhile. I learned a lot more Chinese than I expected to in such a short time while making new friends from all over the world. I would recommend this program to everyone!

The program was coordinated very well by all of the INTO China staff members. Every afternoon we would do a different activity to learn more about the Chinese culture, for example one afternoon we were taught tai chi and the next afternoon we practised Chinese calligraphy. |

It was really easy to live on a student's budget because everything in China is much cheaper than in the UK. |

Do you have any tips/advice on the best ways to practice the language for future study abroad participants? | Practise speaking Chinese as much as possible. After class my classmates and I would try to speak to each other in Chinese and we always tried to have conversations with local taxi drivers. |

* What do you know now that you wish you knew before going on this program? | I wish I had got a VPN from my university before going on this program as it makes it much easier to keep in contact with friends and family at home. |
