Review Your Program

* Overall educational experience

Academic rigor, intensity, resources, etc.

What I learned from my trip to Australia is truly priceless and way better than what I could have learned here sitting in a classroom.

* Host Country Program Administration

On-site administration of your program

Strengths was the companies we got to talk to and see, Operah house, free time, AFL game. Weaknesses, getting lost and bad instructions along with overbooking our day so we had little free time and arrived late at abunch of things.

* Housing:

How satisfied were you with your living arrangements?

We lived with other students from scsu that went on the trip.

* Food:

n/a

* Social & Cultural Integration:

How integrated did you feel with the local culture?

Awesome site seeing and experiences!

* Health Care:

How well were health issues addressed during the program?

* Safety:

It seemed safe everywhere we went.

If you could do it all over again would you choose the same program? Yes

Finances

* Money: How easily were you able to live on a student's budget?

(1 = not very easy/$200+ on food & personal expenses/week, 2.5 = $100/week, 5 = very easily/minimal cost)

Not including program expenses, about how much money did you spend on food and other expenses each week? A lot... probably a couple hundred, Australia is very expensive.
Do you have any general money-saving tips for future study abroad participants? It's a once in a lifetime opportunity don't try to save money and each cheap food because you'll probably never have that experience again.

If applicable, to what degree did your living situation aid your language acquisition?
