I loved my host mother. She was awesome.

How integrated did you feel with the local culture?

It was a little hard to make Argentina friends since you go to school with other American students, but if you work at it you can do it.

How well were health issues addressed during the program?

NA. I never needed health care while abroad.

* Safety:

There are areas you should avoid but for the most part I had no issues.

If you could do it all over again would you choose the same program? Yes

Finances

* Money: How easily were you able to live on a student's budget?

(1 = not very easy/$200+ on food & personal expenses/week, 2.5 = $100/week, 5 = very easily/minimal cost)

I had to make a few decisions concerning my budget but since I was abroad I decided to enjoy my time instead of worry about how much money everything costs. In general Argentina is a very inexpensive country to live in.

* What do you know now that you wish you knew before going on this program? To not worry as much. Things work out and worrying won't change anything. The time goes by way too fast so enjoy it while you're in it!
