A really great university experience April 10, 2019

By (Université de Genève / University of Geneva) - abroad from 01/27/2019 to 05/24/2019 with

Study Abroad in Egypt at the American University in Cairo

What did you gain/learn from your experience abroad? Was it worthwhile?
All my classes very really interesting and of high quality. I was making a lot of progress in my Arabic class. The locals are very curious and easy-going most of the time, I had no trouble integrating. I had a lot of fun and a really good experience The only (slightly) negative thing I can think of is that the university can sometimes feel a little elitist and removed from the rest of Egypt. But it didn't bother me too much.
