I learned so many things by studying abroad. Before traveling, my views of the world were narrowed and influence by the American culture. I had no idea that things could be so different. This try taught me to learn to relax, be accepting of others who may be different than I am, and to be open to new ideas. It was definitely wor... Felicia M - Stephen F. It was completely worth it a hundred times over. I learned so much about how I am capable of adapting to new places, learning quickly and enjoying every minute of every experience. It was all about living in the moment, and that was something I was able to bring home with me; "Pura Vida!" A student - Stephen F. Austin State University View Entire Review

It was most definitely worthwhile! I had never been out of the country before, and this trip opened my mind to a new way of thought. I'd experienced different cultures within the United States, but nothing can shell shock you, and teach you, more than submerging yourself into a foreign country. Amanda S - Stephen F. I have traveled before, but I really enjoyed being with all of those in the class that were new to travel. I learned so much from those who were experiencing it for the first time than I could from traveling by myself or with seasoned travelers.
