What did you gain/learn from your experience abroad? Was it worthwhile?
Through new experiences, challenges, and people, I grew a lot during my year abroad and it was totally worth it. Being able to travel around Europe during the long breaks in between terms was also one of my favorite parts.

* Overall educational experience

Academic rigor, intensity, resources, etc.

Although it initially took a little getting used to, I thoroughly enjoyed the tutorial system and felt that it significantly improved my research, writing, critical thinking, and public speaking skills. I felt extremely supported academically by administrators, tutors, and other students throughout my experience. The work can be time-consuming but given the amount of free time you have to do your independent work, it is absolutely manageable.

On-site administration of your program

We had access to all of the resources and administrators at St Peter's, as well as a dedicated tutor for visiting students, with whom we had a few check-in meetings throughout the year.

How satisfied were you with your living arrangements?

There are several options for food, including eating out or at food markets, eating in hall, or cooking yourself.

* Social & Cultural Integration:

How integrated did you feel with the local culture?

Students were extremely open and friendly, and visiting students are fully integrated into social life.

How well were health issues addressed during the program?

If you could do it all over again would you choose the same program? Yes

The people I met and things I learned throughout my year at St Peter's made it one of the best years ever.

Finances

* Money: How easily were you able to live on a student's budget?

The city of Oxford can be expensive but you're given some money for the dining hall every term and meal deals are great.

* What do you know now that you wish you knew before going on this program? I wasn't sure what to expect going in which was honestly very helpful as I was able to keep an open mind and truly take advantage of new experiences.
