Academic rigor, intensity, resources, etc. |
Overall the work load was not as nearing as challenging as Wellesley. Also the students did not take the work as serious as at Wellesley. Note that these two comments are not to be taken negatively, rather they are complements I find Wellesey to be a very unhealthy place fot the mental of of students, it terms of community it become isolated be students are so competitive academically that their social relationships are negatively influenced. There work/play load is also very skewed. One area of improvment would be for the faculty. The faculty seemed very interested in their research, rather than students first (this is something i would expect from a large university not a small liberal arts school) |

I went to spelman for the HBCU experience. found it amazing. It was very inspiring be surround by a large group of African American women receiving their degree. I would recommend this program to all AA students. |
