Anything Worth Having is Worth Working For Past Review

Southern Cross University: Lismore - Direct Enrollment & Exchange

What did you gain/learn from your experience abroad? Was it worthwhile?
Yes, it was worthwhile. I would probably pick a larger, more active city to go to school in than Lismore. I learned a lot about myself regarding emotional independence. It was very hard for me to adjust. I have a broader perspective on the world we live in; a greater understanding of existence beyond America. I have a more clear outlook on time and how to spend it. I have a greater appreciation for my home and the people in my life.

* What do you know now that you wish you knew before going on this program? A spontaneous, care-free, curious student would most benefit from this program. Anxious busy-bodies will find it too low key and difficult to adjust to the Australian pace.
