Review Your Program

* Overall educational experience

Academic rigor, intensity, resources, etc.

* Host Country Program Administration

On-site administration of your program

The Office of International Affairs (OIA) is very helpful and the staff are always available to talk to the exchange students. We also get daily emails about events on campus or news about the program.

* Housing:

How satisfied were you with your living arrangements?

Gonzaga dormitory for the exchange students was recently built so everything in the building is fairly new. There is the cafeteria, gym, washing room in the basement and next to the dorm is a GS25 convenience store so it was easy to buy food or other necessities.

* Food:

The food on campus isn't that great but there are a lot of cheap, off-campus options for dining.

* Social & Cultural Integration:

How integrated did you feel with the local culture?

* Health Care:

How well were health issues addressed during the program?

* Safety:

If you could do it all over again would you choose the same program? Yes

Finances

* Money: How easily were you able to live on a student's budget?

(1 = not very easy/$200+ on food & personal expenses/week, 2.5 = $100/week, 5 = very easily/minimal cost)

Lunch is not provided in the meal plan so on average it can costs about $5-$6 a day and it's good to eat out for other meals when you want to try food in a different country.

Not including program expenses, about how much money did you spend on food and other expenses each week? $200
