Academic rigor, intensity, resources, etc. |
The workload was not well planned as we would be very free for weeks at a time and then spend a couple days completing important assignments for all courses. Teaching methods were similar lecture style. |

Students did not have a physical place for studying as the program house was closed after class hours. We did not have access to a library or other place for studying during normal hours which posed a problem when it came time to complete academic assignments. |

We were adequately prepared with earthquake safety protocol. luckily the earthquake did not cause any serious damage. |

I practiced Nepali with a lot of regular townspeople who were happy to hear me speak their native language. My host mother helped me improve because she didn't speak english. Most middle-class people, typically men, spoke some english. My host father spoke enough to help me ease into the homestay as I was learning the basics of the language |
