Ghana's hospitality is unmatched and this made all the difference in my experience. People were really kind and they truly cared about my well-being. I am going to take this type of hospitality and incorporate it into my own life. This is a life lesson that will stay with me for the rest of my life.

SIT Ghana's focus on experiential learning enabled me to discover more about Ghana than I could have in a classroom setting. The program ensured that we toured the country, live with families from different walks of life and take public transport; all of which gave us rich in-depth knowledge about the country. |

The administration was unlike any other I had encountered. I have studied abroad before and they were by far the most student-centered staff. I felt comfortable and safe with them. They were authentic and loving. |

Ghana's food is delicious and flavorful!! Red-Red was among my favorite. |

We encountered locals everyday through buying food, taking public transportation and living with host families. All the people I met were so kind and welcoming. |

Yes
During the program, I grew as an individual in ways I had not done before. I learned so much about myself. I also learned about the country and the people. I gained friends and family, which to me is a blessing. |

| Not including program expenses, about how much money did you spend on food and other expenses each week? | I did not spend money on food and other expenses such as transportation because it is included in the program. We were given a stipend each week. |
