I learned an incredible amount about living in another country, a lot about another culture, and a great deal about conducting scientific research.

I lived with a host family in most of the places we traveled too. <br /><br /> I really enjoyed living in a host family

difficult to be a vegetarian, but that's mainly because of the culture

I went to the hospital and was very well taken care of

Do you have any general money-saving tips for future study abroad participants? south america isn't particularly expensive, but you always spend more than you think you're going to
