SIT Study Abroad: Argentina - Social Movements and Human Rights

What did you gain/learn from your experience abroad? Was it worthwhile?
I learned from incredible organizers and academics about their work to advance social movements in Argentina and feel more confident in my understanding of themes like extractivism and ecofeminism. Living in Buenos Aires pushed me both to be more independent and to learn to lean on my support systems. I was so very grateful for the opportunity to practice my Spanish so much and to learn from such wonderful teachers!
