Review Your Program

* Overall educational experience

Academic rigor, intensity, resources, etc.

I think having the courses in spanish is definitely a challenge but if you come with prior knowledge and can carry a conversation you only get better while in Argentina.

* Host Country Program Administration

On-site administration of your program

The professors were very attentive to us and were always there to clarify any confusion we had or concerns. You were never left to be on your own.

* Housing:

How satisfied were you with your living arrangements?

I had a small issue with were I was living but my homestay coordinator handled it quickly to make sure I was comfortable and had an unforgettable experience while there.

* Food:

The food took some time to get adapted to because the culture over there isn’t to use too much seasonings but it wasn’t a dealbreaker.

* Social & Cultural Integration:

How integrated did you feel with the local culture?

* Health Care:

How well were health issues addressed during the program?

* Safety:

If you could do it all over again would you choose the same program? Yes

There was nothing like such kind people who welcome you with open arms and encourage you to do it all.

Finances

* Money: How easily were you able to live on a student's budget?

(1 = not very easy/$200+ on food & personal expenses/week, 2.5 = $100/week, 5 = very easily/minimal cost)

Not including program expenses, about how much money did you spend on food and other expenses each week? about less than $20 because I had a homestay family that cooked for me every night.
Do you have any general money-saving tips for future study abroad participants? I think it’s important to get scholarships and be able to create a budget around that.

Language

* Did your program have a foreign language component? Yes
How much did the program encourage you to use the language?

0 = No encouragement, 5 = frequent encouragement to use the language

How would you rate your language skills at the beginning of the program? Intermediate
How would you rate your language skills at the end of the program? Fluent
What was the highest level language course you had completed prior to departure? College level spanish, however I already speak spanish since young
How many hours per day did you use the language? 10+
