Personal Information

How much international exposure did you have prior to this program? 0-2 weeks

Review Your Program

* Overall educational experience

Academic rigor, intensity, resources, etc.

It was not a very hard class but I learned a lot and I think thats important for a study abroad class.

* Host Country Program Administration

On-site administration of your program

I thought that we were a bit confused about what the class was going to be like and what was required of us.

* Housing:

How satisfied were you with your living arrangements?

I thought the housing was good considering we were only there for a couple of weeks.

* Food:

We were not provided with any food or meal plan.

* Social & Cultural Integration:

How integrated did you feel with the local culture?

I liked that with the program they had us do a few things together to better understand the culture in Ireland.

* Health Care:

How well were health issues addressed during the program?

I thought it was a good class to learn about the different health systems and health problems in the world. It was a short class so we couldn't spend too much time on the subject but we touched on a lot. I enjoyed learning about the different health systems.

* Safety:

I felt very safe on campus.

If you could do it all over again would you choose the same program? Yes

I liked the class and the work involved and the time off we had to be able to explore the country.

Finances

* Money: How easily were you able to live on a student's budget?

(1 = not very easy/$200+ on food & personal expenses/week, 2.5 = $100/week, 5 = very easily/minimal cost)

Not easy because there wasn't a good grocery store or good cooking utensils on campus and every meal fro two weeks we had to eat out.

Not including program expenses, about how much money did you spend on food and other expenses each week? $250
Do you have any general money-saving tips for future study abroad participants? I would figure out if there is some sort of meal plan because 90% of the money I spent was on food.
