It was so worth every penny. I learned more about who I am, what I want to do with my life, and who is important to me.

Academic rigor, intensity, resources, etc.

The instructors on the ship are phenomenal!! They are so brilliant and have so much to teach; in and out of the classroom!!

The M/V World Odyssey is one of the most BEAUTIFUL ships.

The food is okay. In country it is much better.

The shipboard clinic was awesome! Didn't ever have to go, but they seemed on top of everything.

* Safety:

If you could do it all over again would you choose the same program? Yes

Semester at Sea changed my life for the better and taught me things I could have never learned in Pullman, Washington, or the United States themselves.

Finances

* Money: How easily were you able to live on a student's budget?

(1 = not very easy/$200+ on food & personal expenses/week, 2.5 = $100/week, 5 = very easily/minimal cost)

I am good at budgeting. Everything was fine for me! I always had lots of spending money.

They would teach us some basic phrases before every port and encouraged us to use them in port! The citizens of the country I encountered were always excited to hear us use their language!
