About

SBCC Study Abroad Program offers short programs in the winter break. Programs are faculty-led and therefore destinations, as well as course offerings, change.

We strive to offer financially accessible programs. With an emphasis on diversity and affordability, SBCC Study Abroad aims to offer programs to a diverse student body. Courses offered on the programs are usually UC/CSU transferable and may fulfill IGETC requirements.

Program Requirements:
Applicants do not have to be enrolled at SBCC to apply and the programs have no major or language requirements.
Must be at least 18 years old on the day of departure.
Must be in good academic standing.
Students do not currently have to be enrolled at SBCC but are required to enroll if accepted into the program to participate.

Apply early as the number of places is limited and programs are likely to fill before the deadlines.

Application forms are available at the SBCC Study Abroad Office and online. Application deadlines and fees vary by program.
