Paris is a great city to study abroad in! My language skills have definitely improved and I've learned a lot about the French culture and history.

The SLC program is, in many ways, a good program. There are a lot of interesting events and activities, and most of the French professors are great. However, many of the students felt that it was a bit disorganised.

The wardrobe you packed was better suited for a semester of camping than club hopping. Outdoorsy, you might forgo a crazy night out for an early all-day adventure. You'd rather take in the rich culture of an old town than the metropolis of a modern city, but for you getting off the grid is ideal.
