About

Study abroad in Sydney, Australia and enjoy a truly captivating summer study program. This course is on Forced Migration Law and International Environmental Law and takes place from May 22 to June 9. It is worth 4 units and even includes the potential for an internship from June 12 to July 21 which would be worth 4 to 5 units.

The program will focus on two issues of tremendous global importance - forced migration and international environmental law. The forced migration topics will include refugee law; relief for victims of trafficking in persons, torture, crime, and war; and environmental factors in migration flows. The international environmental law topics will include climate change law, the right to water, environmental justice, and indigenous law and land rights. There will be time for site visits to Australian courts and legal institutions and for a weekend trip to wildlife park and the Blue Mountains.
